Hello all at Key Stage 3!
So, here we are again... back to remote learning for the last week of term. Don't worry... we're not going to work you too hard (as it's nearly Christmas!). You will find some basic literacy and numeracy tasks to keep your minds ticking over, as well as some links to some interactive maths activities.
Please log on to Hwb and choose the Remote Learning Classroom.
Myself and Mrs Williams will be calling you this week to check in and have a chat.

Eek! It's the last week of term and we're heading straight for the Summer Holidays...
It's certainly been a strange end to the year but hopefully you are all looking forward to the break, especially now that lockdown is easing a bit.
I've thoroughly enjoyed catching up with a few of you at school over the last couple of weeks. This week, I hope to bid farewell to some of the year 9's who are moving on to Key Stage 4 in September.
For those of you who have been working hard in the Google Classroom, I hope that you enjoy spending your well-earned vouchers. I am really impressed with everything that has been handed in since lockdown began.
This week, I will call all of my students for one final check-in and chat before the holidays officially begin.
I look forward to speaking to you soon.
Ciao for now my lovelies!
It's been lovely seeing some of you back at school this week and I know that Jo is enjoying catching up on the phone, with those of you still at home.
There is still time for you to complete your classwork online to collect vouchers before the summer holiday so try to get as much done as you can before the end of term.
I'm looking forward to seeing those of you in year 8 next week.
I will make sure I speak to all of you before the end of term, either in school, on the phone or via Zoom.
Ciao for now!
Hope you are all well and managing not to melt in this hot weather...
I'm really looking forward to seeing those of you who are coming into school for the 'Check In and Catch Up' sessions over the next three weeks. This week, I've been busy making our classroom safe and ready for social distancing when we return.
For those who have opted not to return until after the summer holiday, I will still be in regular contact over the phone and via Zoom 'hang-outs'.
This week, we have changed the set-up of the Google Classroom so that you only see the work for one week at a time. Hopefully this has made it a little easier to digest. I've already had some positive feedback from pupils, which is brill.
As always, if there is anything you need to chat to me about, send me a message in Google Classroom and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Take care Amigos... and don't forget to wear sunscreen!!
Hey guys, Hope you are all well and enjoyed the wonderful weather over the weekend.
We are not setting any new work this week. Instead, we are giving you a 'catch-up' week to give you the chance to complete everything in the classroom. Don't forget that you will receive a £10 voucher of your choice, for every week that you complete.
As of next Monday, we will be changing the look of our Google Classroom. From 22nd June, there will be a new class for each week of work, rather than having everything in the same place. Hopefully this will make the work more manageable and easier to keep up with.
Thanks again to everyone who joined the Zoom class 'hang-outs' last week. It was lovely to see you! We look forward to seeing you again this week and hopefully a few more will join in too. Remember, it's not about work - it's simply an opportunity to catch up with people in our class.
Have a lovely week - Enjoy the sunshine whilst it lasts and don't forget to turn your work in by Friday to collect your vouchers.
Ciao for now!

Hope you are all well and had a good weekend.
I can see that some of you have been working towards your vouchers on Google Classroom. Make sure you log on and complete the tasks to collect a £10 voucher per week. We're now in week 2, so you can earn £20 if you get everything finished by this Friday.
Thanks to all of those who have joined Zoom meetings and chatted to me on the phone. It's so lovely to hear from you.
This week, we are going to try something new... a virtual 'hang out' for our class. Myself and Jo will be hosting a Zoom meeting online and will send the joining details out to all of you via text and email. We will be online for an hour and would love it if you would pop in to our virtual meeting room to say hello... It's not about work - just a chance for you to catch up and see our lovely faces (because we know you miss us really!!!)
I look forward to receiving your work and sending some vouchers out for you to enjoy.
Really hope you can join us at our 'Hang-out' this week ... we miss you all loads!

Hope you are all well and enjoyed the lovely weather in half term. I've been trying to get out every day for a run as I find it helps me to deal with the 'strangeness' of lockdown. I hear that some of you have been getting out and doing some exercise too, which is fab!
Even if you don't fancy running... I think it's really useful to spend some time outdoors in the fresh air - going for a short walk, or even just sitting out in the garden.
For those of you who know me well (all of you in my class certainly), I have some other news that you will probably find quite amusing ... and very difficult to believe...
Yep... Crazy I know... but check out the finished result...
... and tasted yummy too!
I'd love to hear about what you've been doing ... and any new skills you might have been trying out too.

Good morning all, we hope you had a lovely half term in the beautiful sunshine.
It’s hard to believe we’re now in our final half term before the summer holidays 😲
We will be posting work in Google Classroom each week and as before, you will receive a voucher for each week that you complete.
If you have any problems, you can comment in the stream or send your us a private message in the classwork tab.
